Each round of the Business Basics grants program has specific information to help you prepare and apply for a grant, and if successful, manage your grant.
The Business Basics grants program provides support to businesses to increase core skills and adopt best practice. This round of Business Basics is focused on business enhancement.
Applicants can apply for funding for grant funded activities under the following priorities:

Business Boost Grant Program
The Business Boost grants assists small businesses to enhance their efficiency and productivity.
Funded businesses are expected to:
- boost turnover, profit and employment
- increase business confidence and skills
- enhance the business's efficiency and productivity
- improve business resilience and survivability.
This support includes funded activities in 3 project areas:
- Future planning
- Specialised and automated software
- Planning and systems for staff management and development.

Business Growth Fund
The Business Growth Fund Program provides targeted assistance for small and medium businesses that demonstrate high-growth and employment aspirations.
The fund will enable successful applicants to purchase and implement specialised equipment or services to help them seize growth opportunities.

Social Enterprise Grants Program
The Social Enterprise Grants Program provided assistance between $5,000 to $50,000 to enable social enterprises to access professional advice and support in the critical early stages of establishing and growing their business, and to assist in testing ideas in the market or using technology to achieve their reach and mission.

The Small Business Artisan Producer Grants Program provided assistance to artisan producers of gourmet food (including non-alcoholic beverages) to help them grow their businesses, access new market opportunities and enhance their gourmet food expertise.
