Entertainment

Hylidae

Young, emerging local band Hylidae is a 6-piece that combines high energy performance with all of your favourite 70s, 80s, 90s and pop hits to create interactive and electrifying shows. With Gracey Frayser (lead vocals), Finn George-Newman (drums and vocals), Max Carpenter (guitar), Isla Carruthers (keyboard), Marcus Carruthers (bass) and Jason Carruthers (saxophone), Hylidae has made their name bringing dynamic shows to Cairns community and corporate events for the past 2 years.

Hylidae has recently opened 2 exhilarating sold-out shows for The Cat Empire at the Tanks Arts Centre and has a repertoire including song covers of Stevie Wonder, ABBA, Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars and Lawrence. Bringing high energy, they are guaranteed to get you on the dance floor.
