The Queensland Government will publish a Training Priorities Plan each year, which will set out training and skills priorities for the year ahead, delivering on our objectives outlined in the Queensland Skills Strategy and our national commitments under the National Skills Agreement.

The first annual plan is due from mid–2024. Work is now underway on 22 initial actions.

How we will measure

An outcomes framework, including targets, will be developed as part of our shared stewardship of the national system – including informing an annual National Skills Plan – and our commitment to delivering for Queensland in our annual Training Priorities Plan.
