to come

Trainees and apprentice numbers for the Gambaro Group have increased over the past 18 months due to the need to upskill the workforce after the COVID-19 pandemic.

This has given the group the ability to have a stable workforce in the hospitality sector both in Hospitality Qualifications Certificate IV and III for front and back of house staff and Diploma of Leadership and Management for their emerging leaders.

Gambaro Group's Jacqui Stuart explains that a focus on collaboration, engaging staff in training opportunities to upskill and gain qualifications have helped grow their workforce.

"We have had to work collaboratively with RTOs to ensure the training across multiple sites happens in work time and all staff are engaged and excited about the qualification they are entering into," Jackie said.

"Training is also part of professional development for all staff, so by adding in a nationally recognised qualification to upskill and retain workers it creates a solid team."
