Skill Up was one of the programs that formed part of the Queensland Government's Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative. Through a suite of targeted skills and training programs, Skilling Queenslanders for Work aims to improve the skills, employment opportunities and social inclusion of disadvantaged Queenslanders.

Program changes

From the 2025–26 second funding round, the Skill Up program is no longer available for applications and has merged into an expanded Community Work Skills program.

Organisations seeking funding to support adults 25 years and older to upskill or reskill in entry level positions in high priority industries are encouraged to refer to the Community Work Skills program for potential funding opportunities.
