Skills Assure is a key initiative in the Queensland skills strategy, Skills for Queensland - Great training for quality jobs. It is the next evolution of the pre-qualified supplier (PQS) system and will allow prospective students to easily identify those providers verified to deliver subsidised vocational education and training in Queensland.
The department will implement the Skills Assure initiative from 1 July 2020 for most PQS. Skills Assure will be rolled out for new entrants by September 2020.
The Skill Assure supplier (SAS) system provides a central register of pre-approved registered training organisations (RTOs) for the delivery of training and assessment services subsidised by the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training.
