Arrangements are in place to ensure students of subsidised training can continue to complete their funded course, even when subsidy programs change.
To support transition to a new SAS framework under the Queensland Skills Strategy, which will introduce new subsidy programs from 1 July 2025, a continuing students policy will be developed to outline arrangements for phasing out discontinued programs.
The policy will ensure students are not disadvantaged by ensuring students can complete the qualification or skill set they are enrolled in, with continued focus on supporting the delivery of quality training and outcomes.
