Skills Disability Support provides specialised technology and support services to Skills Assure suppliers to assist students with disability to gain nationally recognised skills and qualifications as a pathway to employment opportunities.

All Skills Assure suppliers can apply for Skills Disability Support to assist students with disability undertaking eligible Queensland Government subsidised training.

The Skills Disability Support program is subject to an annual funding limit and individual approved applications are capped.

How to apply

The Skills Assure supplier:

  1. Discusses with the student their training support needs.
  2. Assesses the student's eligibility to access the service using the Skills Disability Support guidelines (PDF, 183KB or DOCX, 113KB).
  3. Submits a Skills Disability Support application form (DOCX, 81KB) for an eligible student.
  4. Can also email Skills Disability Support to seek assistance in completing the application form.
