Skilling Queenslanders for Work
Skilling Queenslanders for Work helps eligible Queensland job seekers through tailored, local community-based support to gain the skills, qualifications and experience required to enter and stay in the workforce.
Programs are targeted at women re-entering the workforce, young people, mature-age job seekers, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with disability, veterans and ex-defence personnel, recently released prisoners, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
Free and reduced-cost training
The Queensland Government provides access to free and reduced-cost training that aligns with all career stages—from school students, job seekers and those wanting to move into more skilled roles or advance their career.
Apprenticeships and traineeships
Apprenticeships and traineeships allow you to earn while you learn, receiving a qualification upon completion of your apprenticeship or traineeship.
