Our objective is to ensure students continue and complete their funded training courses, providing them with support when things change.
Funded registered training organisations—known as Skills Assure Suppliers in Queensland—are required to meet certain standards, including adequate support for students to learn and complete their course.

Changes to our subsidy programs
If we make changes to a subsidised training program while you are completing your course, we will ensure arrangements are in place, so your funded training place remains secure and you can continue to complete your course and are not be disadvantaged.
New subsidy programs from 1 July 2025
Under the Queensland Skills Strategy, new subsidised training programs will replace our current programs from 1 July 2025. These discontinued programs will be phased out gradually, allowing students who are currently funded under these programs to complete their qualification or skill set without disadvantage.
A continuing student policy will be developed outlining the arrangements for discontinued programs, with a continued focus on supporting the delivery of quality training and outcomes.
Training organisation changes
If your training organisation can no longer deliver your funded training course, we'll help you transition to another training organisation.
