The Queensland Government will cover the cost of your training with a training provider when you choose a high priority apprenticeship or traineeship. Just choose the qualification you want, find an employer to take you on as an apprentice or trainee in that qualification and we'll cover the cost of your training. Your employer will pay your wages, and you might have to meet costs related to any uniform or other training resources.

Are you eligible?

If you're under 25, you're in. Find an employer to start an apprenticeship or traineeship in one of the priority qualifications. You must commence, or be undertaking, your training between 1 January 2021 and 31 December 2023.

You must also meet other general eligibility requirements for apprenticeships and traineeships.
