The Queensland Government will cover the cost of your training with a training provider when you choose a high priority apprenticeship or traineeship. Just choose the qualification you want, land an apprenticeship or traineeship with an employer and we'll cover the cost of you training. Your employer will pay your wages, and you might have to meet costs related to any uniform or other training resources.

Are you eligible?

If you're under 21, you're in. Find an employer to start an apprenticeship or traineeship in one of the priority qualifications. You must commence, or be undertaking, your training between 1 July 2019 and 30 June 2023.

You must also meet other general eligibility requirements for apprenticeships and traineeships.
