25 September 2024: Pilot funding round is now closed. Successful projects for 2024 have been announced.

The $2 million Set for Success pilot program aims to boost outcomes for students of government-funded training.

Skills Assure Suppliers (SAS) were able to apply for a grant of up to $250,000 to develop and trial high-quality, innovative and scalable initiatives to support student completions. The pilot funding round is now closed.

Funding will support bespoke initiatives that assist Queenslanders who experience barriers to completing their training, as well as for in-demand industry qualifications.

Successful initiatives will inform efforts to maximise completions and outcomes for Queensland VET students, apprentices and trainees through the Queensland Skills Strategy – setting Queenslanders up to succeed in the workforce and securing a skills pipeline to people-power the state's economy into the future.
