Inclusive Learning Framework Resources

The inclusive practice resources include overviews and training modules, and support providers to implement inclusive learning. The Inclusive Learning Framework is the Queensland response to the National Equity Blueprint. See below for more information.

The resources are best viewed using Internet Explorer 9, Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome browsers.

When run on a registered training organisation's Learning Management System, providers are able to generate certificates and monitor participation.

To run the resources on a MAC, PC, laptop or mobile device view the Instructions for download (PDF, 392KB).

The training modules can be used by Queensland Government pre-qualified suppliers to provide evidence of staff continuous professional learning on inclusive practice. The modules are designed to develop understanding and encourage implementation of the principles and actions of Inclusive learning: A way forward:

The overviews have been developed to ensure Queensland Government pre-qualified suppliers are aware of Inclusive learning: A way forward and the need to embed inclusive practices in training:

Equity Blueprint

The former National VET Equity Advisory Committee's Equity Blueprint was presented to the Ministerial Council in March 2011. The Blueprint sets out the agreed national policy direction for disadvantaged learners across the vocational education and training (VET) sector, for five years from 2011 to 2016, through six reform areas:

  • adopting a sustainable investment approach to funding VET
  • measuring and reporting performance in terms of how the system deals with those who experience disadvantage
  • building the capability of the VET workforce
  • embedding support for foundation skills development
  • embedding pathway planning and partnerships as part of the VET system
  • listening to the voice of the learner when designing the VET system and continuously improving its services.
