Jay Laga'aia

Jay Laga'aia is a much-loved actor and children's entertainer. His film credits include Nim's Island and Star Wars, and television credits include Home and AwayBed of RosesLegend of the SeekerXena Warrior Princess and Play School.

A gifted musician, Jay has written and recorded numerous albums including four ARIA nominated children's albums with ABC for Kids; he's performed his music with the Queensland, Melbourne, Western Australia and Sydney Symphony Orchestras.

Jay has filmed four seasons of his children's television show Jay's Jungle. He played the title role of Shrek The Musical and has recently completed touring with the hilarious production Peter Pan Goes Wrong.

Jay, a proud father of 8, is the Queensland Government's 'The Early Years Count' ambassador and is a passionate advocate for early childhood education and early literacy.



Funk'n'Stuff are one of Brisbane's most in demand event acts and are back at the Queensland Training Awards after a high energy performance and rave reviews last year.

Combining some of the coolest vocalists, percussionists and DJ's in the business, this unique group perform the latest Top 40 hits, as well as everyone's favourite party classics, specialising in soul, funk and R&B anthems.

Funk'n'Stuff features talented vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Nathaniel Andrew, who won the VET Teacher or Trainer of the Year award at the 2017 Queensland Training Awards Metropolitan region.
