The Screen and Media Gateway to Industry Schools project is a partnership between Essential Screen Skills and the Queensland Government. The project provides opportunities for students and teachers to participate in valuable experiences, broaden knowledge and attend industry-led events. It promotes understanding of the screen and media industry and provides key information about pathways to further education, training and employment in the sector.

In partnership with key industry stakeholders, the project provides real world opportunities for students, teachers and schools to access:

panels and workshops
experiential learning at industry-led festivals and tertiary institutions
teaching resources and professional development
careers and pathway guides to future work
work placements and industry work experience.

Participating schools

Gateway schools will be able to actively engage and connect with key industry stakeholders to create strong connections and pathways for their students.
